Welcome to the OneStop Business Address Change Service.
This service allows a business with a BCeID to change an address for some or all of the following public sector accounts in one step, saving a business time and money:
Canada
Canada Revenue Agency
- GST/HST, Payroll, Import/Export/MCIT, Corporate Income Tax
Industry Canada
- Corporations Canada, Canadian Company Capabilities Database
British Columbia
Local Governments (click here to see a list of participating local governments)
- Business Licence (Note that a physical address change for a business licence will automatically have you complete a new business licence application

What is a BCeID and how do I get one?
A BCeID provides a business with a single ID and password to access the many participating government services. It replaces the many different user names and passwords previously needed. To get a BCeID for your business, visit https://www.bceid.ca/register/
Do you know your new Canadian postal code?
If you are unsure of your business's new postal code, find it in the Canada Postal Code Directory before you start.

What else you need to know before starting:
You will choose the agencies and related accounts you wish to notify of your business's new address. The following lists the additional information you need to have:
Industry Canada
Canadian Company Capabilities Database - Your Strategis user name.
Corporations Canada - Your federal corporation number.
Provincial Sales Tax and Hotel Room Tax
The registration number for each tax account.
Business Closure - If your change of address relates to the closure of a business, you will need to provide the date it closed. If the assets are being sold, you will need to provide the name, phone and fax numbers, and address of the purchaser.
Sale of Business - If you have sold your business, you will need to provide the date of sale, name, phone and fax numbers, and address of the purchaser.
WorkSafeBC (formerly known as the Workers’ Compensation Board of B.C.)
Your account number.
Municipal Business Information
- Phone and emergency numbers.
- Business floor area.
- Local contact name and phone number.
- Business licence number - if you are moving within the same municipality, this number is required and can be found on your business licence.
